چکیده

Summary: The Differentially Expressed Protein Database (DEPD) was designed to store the output of comparative proteomics studies and provides a publically available query and analysis platform for data mining. The database contains information about more than 3,000 differentially expressed proteins (DEPs manually extracted from the published literature, including relevant biological, experimental and methodological elements. Tools for visualization and functional analysis of DEPs are provided via a user-friendly web interface. Availability: http://protchem.hunnu.edu.cn/depd/ Contact: [email protected]

Introducing Albumin and Interleukin 6 As Common Critical Dysregulated Protein Between Migraine and Gliosarcoma

Introduction: It is reported that migraine may be risk factor of brain cancers. Since the one of the best ways to assess this possible relationship is molecular mechanism study, here the common central dysregulated proteins between these diseases are investigated via network analysis. Methods: The dysregulated proteins of migraine and gliosarcoma are extracted from STRING database and interact...

Introducing Transthyretin as a Differentially Expressed Protein in Washing Subtype of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder

Introduction: Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) as one of the important mental problems is valuable topic for proteomic research studies to better understand the underlying mechanisms of this disorder.  Methods: In this paper, gel-based proteomic was used to investigate the proteome profile of 16 female patients with OCD, washing subtype before and after treatment with fluoxetine and co...

The Application of a Non-Radioactive DD-AFLP Method for Profiling of Aeluropus lagopoides Differentially Expressed Transcripts under Salinity or Drought Conditions

Aeluropus lagopoides is a salt and drought tolerant grass from Poaceae family, distributed widely in arid regions. There is almost no information about the genetics or genome of this close relative of wheat that stands harsh conditions of deserts. Differential Display Amplified fragment length polymorphism (DD-AFLP) led to the improvement of a non-radioactive method for which many parameters we...

Dataset of the plasma membrane proteome of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell line HNE1 for uncovering protein function.

Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is a commonly occurring tumor in southern China and Southeast Asia. The current study focused on developing an extensive analysis method for the peripheral and integral proteins of NPC cell line HNE1. The peripheral membrane proteins were extracted by biotinylated enrichment, 0.1 M Na2CO3, and H2O. Integral or total plasma membrane fractions were prepared using 30...
